The Advocacy for Better Health (ABH) project, funded by USAID, is building Uganda's capacity to address future community health challenges by placing ABH-supported interns and fellows with civil society organizations (CSOs) that are actively responding to community needs and advocating strategies to mitigate health disparities.
The interns' experience includes guided learning experiences, exposure to USAID e-learning modules and mentoring while embedded in an organization committed to promoting advocacy for better health. The program curriculum, designed by Initiatives Inc., includes project orientation, modular and on-line learning experiences.
