The organizational capacity assessment (OCA) is a facilitated self-assessment process designed to help organizations improve their performance in responding to HIV/AIDS and other health issues. The OCA framework was developed in collaboration with the USAID Support to the HIV/AIDS Response in Zambia Project, Zambia’s National AIDS Council, and numerous district AIDS task forces and nongovernmental and community-based organizations (NGOs/CBOs). The OCA framework and tools can be adapted for different kinds of organizations and contexts. This book includes an overview of the OCA process, followed by customized scoring guides and worksheets for NGOs/CBOs and district AIDS task forces.
Published in 2010 under the USAID Support for the HIV/AIDS Response in Zambia (SHARe) project.
