Initiatives serves as both a prime contractor to funding agencies and as a subawardee to other international development organizations. We utilize a combination of full- and part-time employees, consultants, and interns to best serve our clients.


Initiatives functions as both a prime contractor and subawardee to various funding agencies and organizations.  We are a strong partner who values quality, performance and service improvement. Our projects are typically secured by responding to competitive requests for proposals either as the lead contractor or as a subcontractor. We specialize in meeting the Sustainable Development Goals of health systems strengthening in the areas of HIV/AIDS, TB, malaria, maternal and child health, and reproductive health. We also welcome other proposed global health focus areas and can customize our technical support accordingly.
